For the implementation of the project design in construction and in particular during construction supervision, ASPROFOS:
- Supervised all Contractor’s site activities with respect to schedule, quality and safety to ensure full compliance with the project requirements;
- Established an effective site coordination procedure for routine daily communication between Client, ASPROFOS and the Contractors;
- Reviewed/approved the Contractor’s monthly progress and payment certificates;
- Inspected and verified secure and on time supply of materials;
- Prepared close-out reports and issued final payment certification.
Description
Grass roots development of a TAME (Tertiary Amyl Methyl Ether) Unit, including the relevant interconnecting and erection of a new 9,000 m3 methanol tank. The purpose of the unit aimed at the reduction of the olefin content in the gasoline pool via an etherification process, in order to meet the strict specifications set forth by E.U. under "Auto - Oil Spec" regulations (max. allowable level of aromatics and Olefin content 42% & 18% respectively).
