The Hellenic Gas Transmission System Operator (DESFA SA) develops and manages an extensive infrastructure system, transporting natural gas to various parts of Greece. Within this infrastructure system, is the existing LNG terminal at Revithoussa Island, which is used for the storage of transported LNG and its subsequent gasification for introduction in the network. The terminal consists of an import jetty, two full containment storage tanks (plus one that will be constructed in parallel), re-gasification equipment and send-out facilities. It is connected to the main Natural Gas Pipeline by means of two (2) marine crossing pipelines, 24inch each, at 3°C minimum temperature and from 26 to 64 barg operating pressure. DESFA expanded for the second time the LNG terminal by increasing the Sustainable Maximum Send out Rate (SMSR) from 1000 m3/hr to 1400m3/hr and the peak send out rate up to 1650 m3/hr.

- Review Contractors Vendor's and Subcontractor's Lists.
- Review and commenting or approval of Contractors Field Engineering Documentation.
- Provide DESFA with the Engineering back-up information as and when required.
- Check the Technical acceptability of any changes proposed by Contractor to original design.
- Construction supervision services.
