OKTA Refinery requested various engineering consulting services for the construction of a new Sour Water Stripper Unit of a stripping capacity 22 m3/h, treating sour water from all the existing and new process units of the refinery, removing dissolved hydrogen sulfide and ammonia. The produced Gases have been designed to be routed to the Sulfur Recovery Unit, while stripped water is led to the Desalter Water Surge Drum, in order to be used in the crude desalting process. ASPROFOS prepared the Detailed Engineering of the new Sour Water Stripper Unit.
