The project concerns the feed installation through a 12” diameter above ground Natural Gas pipeline with a total length of 3 km at the Elefsis Industrial Complex. The pipeline starts from the exit valve of a metering station and was connected to the new fuel gas network of the Industrial Complex ending at the new hydrogen unit. The non - stop operation of hydrogen production was ensured with the installation of a centrifugal compressor and a ‘’Knock-out drum’’, while an air cooler was designed to maintain the cooling of the compressor recirculation and the regulation of the production which was achieved with the aid of a skid mounted unit. HALDOR TOPSΟE, the Licensor of the Hydrogen Unit assisted in the development of the basic design for the new requirements.
