  • Detailed Engineering Review:

Review of the detailed design as set out in the EPC Contract implemented by the technical volume and the applicable Codes & Standards. This entailed the thorough understanding of the design delivered by Contractor, adopting and embracing all processes and approaches proposed. Review of the design extended to cover all deliverables and final documentation, such as technical plans, procedures, methodological approacg for quality, management, testing and all Engineering activities which were implemented throughout the project execution phase.

  • Construction Supervision:
    • Supervision and acceptance of all technical methods applied during the Project execution.
    • Follow the progress of the project, intervening when corrective actions needed to be implemented, to avoid divergence from the requirements set out in the EPC Contract
    • Support OWNER in relation to progress verification and payment
    • Reviewed the integrity of EPC Contractor Construction Documentation during project Execution
    • Reviewed the Field Engineering requirements proposed by EPC Contractor. Approve modifications proposed and assure rectification of surveying errors encountered.
    • Reviewed EPC Contractor’s procurement schedule, assessed proposed vendors & subcontractors, procurement requisitions, vendor’s inspection & test plans material receipt activities.
    • Reviewed EPC Contractor’s inspection and testing programs, plans & procedures.
    • Reviewed EPC Contractor’s HSE Manual, Plan & Procedures.
    • Verified the status of progress certificates; support Project Manager in the evaluation and settlement of variation requests and claims.
    • Reviewed “As- Built “documentation and assured the completeness, correctness and assembly of all final technical documentation.
    • Certified the Mechanical Completion, produced close out report and supported OWNER in Provisional Acceptance Procedures.

Description

In 1987 the Public Petroleum Corporation S.A. following a Conceptual Design decided to establish the Hellenic Natural Gas Transmission System which initially consisted of a main 816 km High Pressure Pipeline and Branches in the mainland and a LNG Terminal on the Island of Revithoussa.

From 1987 till today, ASPROFOS has participated in various developments and new additions for the expanion of the Terminal:

  • Feasibility Study for the project definition of a LNG Terminal,
  • Basic Engineering and Detailed Design for the cryogenic plant and the utilities of the LNG Terminal.
  • Basic and Detailed Design for jetty and port installation
  • Basic Design of marine crossing of the LNG Terminal
  • Design review and construction supervision services for 2 X 65,000m3 storage tanks and cryogenic facilities
  • Expandability and power plant installations
  • Environmental Impact Study for the expansion of the Terminal
  • Technical evaluation for the expansion of LNG Terminal
  • Basic Eesign & EIAS for power plant in the terminal
  • EIS & Related studies for increasing regasification rate and storage capacity
