The project involves the construction of two lines of Light Railway System with total length of approximately 24 kilometres, 48 stations, as well as the linking line with the wagon-shed having a total length of about 2.2 kilometres.
The project includes Civil Engineering Works, Procurement, Installation and Commissioning/Start-up of the Electromechanical Systems regarding the Light Railway System. The vehicular material will comprise 35 wagons, foremost, and the procurement, construction and operation of the machines and tools. Reconstruction, expansion of the existing and construction of new buildings in Hellenicon for the making of the wagon-shed will take place.
