Technical Data

The objective of the Flare Gas Recovery System (FGRS) is to recover the flare gases from the flare gas headers, and then compress the gas to 3.8 barg for feeding to the plant in lieu of flaring these gases. Recovery will occur during normal operating conditions, while upset conditions will bypass the FGRS and proceed to the existing flares.
The FGRS is to be designed for a normal operation flow of 670 m³/h, however, the compressor has a maximum capacity of approximately 850 m³/h.
