Description
The project concerned the extension of the Greek Natural Gas Transmission System in order to supply the future PPC power Plant with natural gas mainly for electric energy production in the area of Megalopolis with a total capacity of 800 MW and supplementarily to supply the urban - commercial sector and the small industries of Corinth, Argos, Nafplio, Tripolis and Megalopolis regions. Provisions have been taken for possible future supply of the regions of Patras, Kalamata and Sparti.
