Description
Hellenic Petroleum Elefsis Refinery proceeded with the revamping of the existing units:
- Gas-oil Hydrodesulphurization (U-100) for the production of “ultralow sulphur diesel” containing less than 10wppm sulphur with a guaranteed life cycle of two years for the catalyst and the optimum minimum consumption of required hydrogen
- Hydrogen Unit (U-200) to increase the volume of the produced hydrogen in order to be sufficient for the hydrogen feed requirements of the revamped U-100. The new unit capacity is in the order of 5,900Nm3/h of hydrogen when operating on LPG & Methanol and 4,349Nm3/h of hydrogen when operating on LPG only
