Description
The project consisted of two parts:
- Poseidon Project Pipeline Offshore Section of High Pressure Natural Gas Interconnection Greece-Italy
ASPROFOS prepared the complementary Environmental Impact Assessment Study and the Application file for Environmental Terms Approval Amendment of the Greek offshore section of High Pressure Natural Gas Interconnection Greece-Italy.
- Front End Engineering Design (FEED) and Permitting Contract Poseidon Pipeline Project Onshore Section
The Onshore Section of Poseidon Pipeline consists in the development, design and construction of a pipeline and associated facilities to transport gas from Turkish-Greek border to Greece and Italy. In particular Poseidon Pipeline includes a) an 48” onshore pipeline of approximately 760km, with 15.45 -20 Bcm/y transportation capacities, (b) two Fiscal Metering Stations and (c) two Compressor Stations with an installed power of approx. 116 - 165 MW each.
