Description

The objective of this study is to:

  • estimate flare loads and composition from various flares for non-emergency flaring case
  • decide flare grouping and determine optimal capacity and location of new flare gas recovery units so as Kuwait National Petroleum Company can achieve goal of zero non-emergency flaring
  • identify bottlenecks of New-Flare Gas Recovery Unit (U-105) according to the studies conducted for routing of acid gases to existing Sulphur block in refinery area and
  • evaluate available alternative Flare Gas Recovery Unit technologies and option selection
ASPROFOS should prepare the documents that define the Project Basic requirements and perform FEED, so that the project requirements are well defined with scope clarity and EPC Contractor can submit the LSTK (Lump Sum Turn Key) bid with a reasonable margin.
