INA is the leading Croatian Oil and Gas Company operating two (2) Refineries in Croatia in Rijeka and Sisak. In order to comply with the European IPPC (Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control) Directive, INA Rijeka Refinery decided to proceed with a conceptual, main and detailed design for the materialization of this task. The purpose of this project was to flush gas via the debutanizer overhead reflux drum and transfer the fuel gas to amine treatment in FCC or HDS, in order to reduce refinery SOx emissions. The condensed LPG will continue to be processed in the Merox Unit.
