Description

The project concerns the installation of a new Compressor Station (U-2600) in Ampelia in order to provide the additional compression required in the National Natural Gas Transmission System (NNGTS) to meet the required flowrates and pressures.
The Compressor Station is necessary on the basis of the hydraulic simulation studies carried out by DESFA and given the expected increase in the transported quantities of natural gas from north to south with the start of the Trans-Adriatic pipeline (TAP) and its interconnection with NNGTS in New Messimvria.

  • The Basic Engineering package includes to investigation, process, elaboration, design and issuance of all the required technical documentation for the Ampelia Compressor Station, in order EPC Contractor - later stage - to be able to perform the Detail Engineering Design in a next stage of the project and DESFA to execute the tendering procedure.
  • The purpose of this Scope of Services consists the elaboration of the Environmental Impact Study for the new compressor station at Ampelia, which will be submitted to the Ministry of Environment and Energy, in order to amend the existing Environmental Terms of the main National Natural Gas Transmission System.
