Our colleague, Eftathios Stasinoulias, represented Asprofos Engineering in the 7th Pan Hellenic Conference on Geotechnical Engineering, as a speaker along with Mr. C. Stratakos and N. Sideris, representatives of NAMA S.A., a geotechnical company.
The conference which was organized by the Hellenic Scientific Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering Company took place in Zappeio, Athens between the 5th and 7th of November 2014.
The presentation’s subject was "Physical and mechanical properties of Filippi turf".
Τhe extensive geotechnical research was designed and executed by Asprofos Engineering and their subcontractors for the Front End Engineering Design (FEED) Project undertaken for the Trans Adriatic Natural Gas Pipeline. The conclusive results of the research at Filippi area of Dramas having been assessed and correlated with older surveys for turf were included in the presentation of the conference.
