In particular, with its manpower it supports the design of grass root units, expansions, improvements and/or revamps of refinery units as well as the management and implementation of complex turnarounds.
ASPROFOS also designs offsites and utility systems, storage facilities, oil pipelines and prepares the datasheets for main equipment. ASPROFOS’ involvement extends through all stages of a refinery project, from the very concept to start-up.
ASPROFOS stands out in the Greek refinery sector due to its expertise and ability to execute complex refinery projects. The company has extensive know-how in the design of new open art process units such as atmospheric, vacuum and light ends distillation, naphtha hydrotreating and gas oil hydrodesulphurisation, treatment of sour gas with amine solutions and sour water stripper. To guarantee optimal operation the company also develops a comprehensive detailed engineering of proprietary technology units (of medium and high complexity), such as visbreaking, isomerization, and flexicoker.

ASPROFOS has strong record of carrying out consultancy, planning, project management and construction supervision for storage facilities and terminals for a variety of petroleum products, including crude oil storage facilities, refineries and petrochemicals. The company also specializes in the design of loading / unloading systems of terminals and jetties, complete with all of the necessary automation systems for guaranteed safety and reliability.

ASPROFOS successfully delivers oil and product distribution pipeline projects both inside and outside of Greece. In addition, the services supplied in this area include not only management, but also construction supervision.
